Our Commitment

VerifySpot is operated by Intelium Corp., a Tucson based software company dedicated to creating great software and committed to protecting your privacy.

Our service only collects information necessary to detect credit card fraud. No additional information is collected.

Information which is collected from VerifySpot APP users (such as credit card images and GPS location) is automatically deleted from our servers once it is accessed and reviewed by the merchant or within 72 hours of upload (whichever comes first). We have no control over which information the merchant may save or store at their own discretion.

The only data we collect about the VerifySpot app user is information which may aid in the determination of fraud. This includes: GPS coordinates; credit card images; and IP address. No other information is collected about the app user. We may revise the data collected at any time if we learn that additional data is required to improve fraud protection.

In order for a merchant to use VerifySpot, they need to provide their name, email and billing information. This information is stored on our servers to make the service accessible to the merchant. The merchant may be charged by us to use the service on a monthly or annual basis.

Privacy Practices

This section provides a summary of our privacy practices:

  • We do not collect information we do not need.
  • We delete information which is not necessary to retain once it is analyzed.
  • We value your privacy and your data security, and we take many steps to ensure that sensitive data is not compromised. This includes reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect and limit access to personal information.
  • WE DO NOT SHARE any information obtained from any usage of VerifySpot web site or mobile app with any third party, unless to comply with legal requirements such as the demands of applicable subpoenas and court orders.
  • Our online services are intended for a U.S. audience. If you visit or use one of our online services, your information may be transferred or processed in the United States.
  • If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights or obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are a merchant, it is your responsibility to comply with the CCPA in regard to your own customers. VerifySpot explicitly disclaims all and any liability, or obligations, under the CCPA in regard to your customers.
  • We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will let you know by appropriate means, such as by posting the revised policy on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when posted unless indicated otherwise.
